250 was aquired by the GATEWAY at a very young age, having been voluntarily given to the facility by his parents. (two GATEWAY employees.) Since then, he has gained a fascination (obsession) with the OVERSEERS. the high ranking scientists that operate the wider goings on of the laboratory. 250 desperately wants to become an OVERSEER and is the only subject to fully believe he has the capability to do so. his aspiration eventually causes an incident in which the overly eager test subject attempted to take control of one of the ARCHIVE's important artifacts, leading to him essentially fusing with it's strange properties and turning half of his body permanantly into glowing plasma, which he now covers up with a large amount of bandages. 250 has very few friends, no interest in the world beyond the GATEWAY and a bit of a snarky/overconfident attitude, so when he ends up stuck with Laine and Caleb in the outside, he isn't particularly happy at first. 250 does eventually warm up to his new travel companions though, and discovers there may be more to the world than simply impressing the OVERSEERS.

Personality:
250 is an absolute menace at times. he puts up a facade of being incredibly cocky and kind of a dick-head jock, but very soon after leaving to the outside, his more softer traits start to show through and he becomes alot closer with the other two. not without a sincere apology for being kind of an asshole earlier though, obviously.

Extra:
250 is a trans man! he found out about this when he was bothering another test subject (more on him later he's important), tried to use the excuse of "you wouldn't hit a girl" and then said test subject agreed that he would never hit a girl, before confidently decking 250 across the face, sending him into an existential crisis over the next few days that led to him getting diagnosed with gender dysphoria.
250's hair lights up when he feels any strong emotion, and there is also often slight glowing visable from under his bandages too.
250 is a highly proficiant swimmer, and was often used by the GATEWAY to test deep sea diving gear.
